Anthracite Stoves

Anthracite is clean-burning hard coal. Stoker stoves feed fuel automatically like a pellet stove. The DS Anthra-Glo can direct vent through the wall with pellet vent pipe like a pellet stove. Stoker stoves use rice coal that comes in 40lb bags like pellets. Anthracite has a much higher heat value per pound than pellets. Anthracite will heat an average home using about 100 bags less per season. Rice coal cost per season is about the same as wood pellets. Rice coal is in stock at MacDowell's and at Tractor Supply.
