MacDowell’s opened in 1976 with three woodstoves, and from the beginning, our focus has been to provide quality hearth products that offer high performance and value.  Our product line grew to include many more stoves, fireplaces and fireplace inserts.  In 1989, gas, corn and pellet stoves were added and are part of our 6,000 square foot display, featuring 100 stoves, fireplaces and inserts.

We are full service, licensed and insured, and install and service the products that we sell with our own factory trained technicians.  We have a good working relationship with the many inspection jurisdictions in which we regularly work, and we can advise you about building code and insurance requirements
